With sunshine, all things are possible…

(click for bigger pic)I did some weeding in the garden and it felt SO good to be out in the sun. I finally pulled myself in for a break (several times) and each time plunked myself down at the computer to look for more amazing lace on Ravelry. I am totally lost in lace knitting again, and I mean lost in a totally good way. It’s all I want to do (in or out of the sun)!
That could have something to do with the fact that I finally bought my very own copy of Victorian Lace Today. If you are a lace knitter or if you want to be a lace knitter, I highly recommend this book. It’s the perfect resource and not only are there gorgeous photos of lace, it’s also a really good read. I got mine when I FINALLY went out to visit one of my (sorta kinda) local yarn shops, 88 Stitches. It’s a lovely store and I spent an inordinate amount of time fondling yarns and dreaming of even more projects to add to my ever-growing list. They have Handmaiden yarns, and Berroco yarns and some linen that I’m feeling compelled to knit with, despite knowing my hands will complain loudly.
And today is World Wide Knit in Public day, but I’ve yet to knit at all. Guess I better, eh? Does knitting in my front yard count as knitting in public?
P.S. It seems I am very out of practice with blogging, but I think I finally corrected all the spelling and grammar errors.
